Vincent Kompany left Manchester City on a positive note after winning the domestic treble in his last season. Kompany then joined Belgium side Anderlecht, as a player-coach. Kompany recently released his new book, Treble Triumph, in which he mentioned that he had thoughts of staying at Manchester City to win one more Premier League title with the club. The former City captain has won four Premier League titles with the club but he stated that winning is addictive and that he had irrational thoughts before joining Anderlecht.

However, the legend believes that he made the right decision in the end which will help Manchester City to give young players the chance and make them ready for the future.
