Yokohama F・Marinos striker Teruhito Nakagawa was pleased with the attitude of the defending Japanese J.League champions after their first full team training on Monday following several months spent in lockdown.

The team's practises had been suspended as a countermeasure against the coronavirus, but following the lifting of the state of emergency in Japan, the squad resumed their training on Monday.

The training was conducted behind closed doors under strict social distancing measures.

Under Australian head coach Postecoglou's, the Marinos clinched their first J.League title in 15 years on the final day of the 2019 season.

The J.League announced on Friday to resume its first division on 4th July following a roughly four-month stoppage due to the coronavirus pandemic.
