Deschamp comment after France defeat Bulgaria in final friendly

Reaction from France manager Didier Deschamps after his side beat Bulgaria 3-0 on Tuesday in their last friendly match before the start of the European Championship.

Antoine Griezmann scored in the first half. This was followed by two late goals from Olivier Giroud.

Giroud replaced Karim Benzema towards the end of the first half after the Real Madrid striker was injured in a challenge with Bulgaria defender Ivan Turitsov.

Deschamps played down the gravity of Benzema's injury, saying that the 33-year-old forward was substituted out of caution ahead of France's EURO opener against Germany on June 15th. Les Bleus will also face Hungary and Portugal in the tournament's Group F.
