Leicester boss Rodgers will be returning to Anfield for the first time after leaving in October 2015 as Liverpool boss. It would be tough clash between Rodgers’ side and Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Liverpool had an easy 1-0 away win against Sheffield United FC in their last Premier League clash. Georginio Wijnaldum scored the only goal for the Reds. Liverpool fired a total of 16 shots in that match. On the other hand, Leicester thrashed Newcastle United by 5-0 at home. Ricardo Pereira and Wilfred Ndidi scored a goal each. Also, Jamie Vardy scored two goals for Leicester.
Reds will welcome their first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker back into their side after being out of action with an injury. Talking to the press, Klopp claimed that Alisson may or may not be available for the match but he is back in the training and is doing well. Joel Matip will probably miss the match as he picked up the injury during the clash against Sheffield United last weekend. On the other hand, Leicester will be playing with the same playing XI, Rodgers played with against Newcastle.
