Wales national team manager Ryan Giggs has officially named Aaron Ramsey in the squad for the upcoming round of international matches. Another surprising name in the list was that of Gareth Bale. Both the players have been recovering from their respective injuries and their inclusion raises many doubts over their fitness.

Gareth Bale was out of action for Real Madrid in the month of October and has not played since picking up a calf injury during the Euro 2020 Qualifiers. Ramsey, on the other hand, has only recently returned to action after missing Wales' previous fixtures with an adductor injury.

Wales have a tough qualifying round

Wales need to win against Azerbaijan on November 16, 2019, and then against Hungary at home to keep their hopes of qualifying for the Euro 2020 alive. However, consecutive wins are not the only thing needed for Wales to go through. They also need Slovakia to drop points in both their remaining matches against Croatia and Azerbaijan. Giggs is said to have understood that he needs both his players in order to ensure any chance of winning their remaining fixtures.

Ramsey is not fit completely

Ramsey is yet to actually feature in Wales' Euro 2020 qualification because of hindrances he has faced through various injuries. The former Arsenal star is yet to play for Wales in 2019. However, he is expected to play a significant part in the game after finally shaking off his muscular problem. Since returning, he has made two substitute appearances for Juventus and the Welsh will certainly be pushing to prove his fitness ahead of their crucial games. Though Giggs admits that Ramsey isn't fully match-fit at present, the Wales manager is hopeful that he can make an impact for the national team this month.
