Netherlands visit Dinamo Stadion, Minsk to take on Belarus on October 13, 2019 in a Group C tie in their Euro 2020 qualifier. Netherlands, the top-ranked side in the group, will look to win this match in order to strengthen their bid to qualify for the main event. On the other hand, Belarus wouldn't mind a consolation win after a poor performance in the group stages. With Dutch star forward Memphis Depay missing out on this game due to an injury, the hosts would fancy their chances for an upset.

Netherlands vs Belarus: Form in the group matches and head-to-head

Netherlands have won four of their five matches so far. As mentioned above, they are currently on top of the heap, tied on 12 points with Germany, who have played an equal number of games. Meanwhile, Belarus are placed fourth with four points with just one win to their name. Their chances of qualifying for the Euro 2020 are pretty much over as they trail by eight points from the teams above with just three games to go. Netherlands beat Belarus on home soil in their previous encounter in March 2019.

Team news and predicted line-ups

Ronald Koeman has the entire Dutch squad at his disposal barring one key figure in Memphis Depay. The Lyon forward scored twice as his side came back from behind to beat Northern Ireland in their previous fixture. However, he is currently down with a thigh injury. Koeman would surely miss the 25-year old attacker and has opted against calling a replacement. As for Belarus, manager Milkhail Markhel has no injury issues as his side face a daunting task going up against the Dutch.
