The Indian men’s football team played out a goalless draw againt Qatar on September 10. The draw is a big result for India as Qatar are the current Asian Football Cup Champions. No other Asian football team has managed to draw, much less beat Qatar this year but the Indian team is the first team to draw a match against Qatar in the World Cup Qualifiers. Many people reacted to the draw on Twitter congratulating the Indian football team. Sunil Chhetri also took to Twitter to show his support, as he missed the match due to high fever.

Sunil Chhetri tweeted, "Dear India, THAT is my team and THOSE are my boys!"

The Indian Twitter handle of Tottenham Hotspur also congratulated the team by tweeting, "A solid performance!"
