Arguably two of the finest footballers in the modern generation - Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah - are incredible athletes on the field. The skill, technique, and talent they possess are second to none, and that's what has made them succeed at the top level.

Fans are left in shock with their performances when they grace the football field, but their recent exploits - off the field - has left the footballing world grasping for breath.

Messi, considered by many as the best footballer to have graced the sport, took to Instagram to post a video. The Barcelona and Argentine great did something which no one could even imagine, let alone try.

The 31-year-old took a challenge, wherein he had a Pepsi bottle placed right above the football, and a small target to aim. Despite the complexity, his perfectly timed shot went into the hoop, though, that wasn't even the highlight!

Messi hit the ball so sweetly, and he calculated the power of his effort in a way that the Pepsi bottle flipped a couple of times in the air before landing upright on the ground.

While Messi's effort was insane, to say the least, Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah produced an equally sensational display, if not better, a day before.

On his Twitter handle, the Egyptian posted a video in which he, just like Messi, had a target to aim with the ball, though, no Pepsi bottle on top of it. He completed his challenge with ease. But what followed was outrageous,

A Pepsi can was placed above the target, and Salah, while juggling the ball, facing the other side, hit a volley. And guess what? His effort hit the can!
