Inter Miami prepare for their game against New York City FC on Saturday hoping to extend their recent upturn in form.

After an injury-time winner at home to Nashville in their last match, Inter Miami will make it five games without defeat for the first time in the club's history if they get a result at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

Returning to the starting XI in Miami's last game, former PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi said the team are improving all the time and believes his blossoming relationship with Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain could fire the new MLS team into the play-offs.

Matuidi also commented on Argentine superstar Lionel Messi's surprise move to PSG earlier this week, saying it was "unbelievable" for the side Matuidi used to play for.
