  • While the subject of Ronaldo's celebration caused a huge stir on social media, Jesse Lingard decided to add a bit of humor to the online debate.

Jesse Lingard took some time to poke fun at Cristiano Ronaldo after Manchester United rallied back to secure a dramatic late 2-1 victory over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.

The Portuguese superstar had put Juventus ahead in the 65th minute with a stunning strike, but the hosts couldn't hold on to their lead as the introduction of Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini looked to have changed the complexion of the game.

Juan Mata's fine free-kick and Alex Sandro's own goal scripted for one of the most famous finishes in the history of the Champions League. But, it was Cristiano Ronaldo's celebration after the goal that has got people talking and has particularly angered Manchester United fans.

Although, the talismanic forward wasn't seen celebrating his goals during his time at Real Madrid, but looked extremely ecstatic with the goal this time around as he celebrated by flaunting his finely chiseled body.

The former Manchester United player later turned back and apologized to the Red Devils fans at the away end. While the subject of his celebration caused a huge stir on social media, Jesse Lingard decided to add a bit of humor to the online debate.

Lingard is known to entertain his fans with antics not only on the football field, but off it too. This time the England international shared a picture of himself flaunting his abs, placed alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, while asking fans: “Who did it Better?”

However, Ronaldo was not a happy man after gifting Manchester United a win. He also seemed least pleased with his former manager's style of play, as he believed that Manchester United were not worthy winners of the match.

United did nothing to win the game," Ronaldo told Sky Sports Italia.

"We dominated for 90 minutes, had so many chances, could have killed it off three or four times, but we relaxed and were punished.

"You can't even talk about luck, because you have to find your own luck and in this case, we just gifted it to them.

"Now we've got to lift our heads, as we played really well and are still top of the group."
