South Korea's domestic soccer league the K-League has updated its logo to help promote social distancing in the fight against the coronavirus.

South Korea's domestic soccer league the K-League has updated its logo to help promote social distancing in the fight against the coronavirus.

The new logo features a ball wearing a mask that has distanced itself from its original place on the K-League shield and the letters spelling out "K League" are now spread out from each other along the bottom.

The redesign is to help promote South Korea's nationwide social distancing campaign and emphasise that wearing a mask is mandatory.

The opening of the 2020 K-League season has been temporarily postponed due to coronavirus outbreak.
