It was an exciting matchweek in the English Premier League last weekend. Leicester City continued their amazing run of form by breaking down a resolute Crystal Palace defence to register a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. However, the real drama unfolded in the games featuring the top two in the Premier League.

Manchester City found themselves trailing for the better part of the game, thanks to a goal from Southampton's James Ward-Prowse. Liverpool found themselves trailing for even longer than their title rivals, needing late goals from Andrew Robertson and Sadio Mane to clinch the three points. However, moments after Trezeguet gave Aston Villa the lead against Liverpool, Roberto Firmino had a goal chalked off for offside. The reason? His armpit was ahead of the final line of defence.
