Manchester United started their Premier League season on a winning note with an outstanding 4-0 win over Chelsea in their own back yard i.e. at the Old Trafford on Sunday. What was expected to be a thrilling encounter completely turned out to be a one-sided affair as the Blues were made to pay for their poor defence. Man U drew first blood when one of their superstars Marcus Rashford successfully scored off a penalty in the 18th minute. Rashford would also go on to score another one in the second half at the 67th minute. The other two goals were scored by Anthony Martial in the 65th and Daniel James 81st minute respectively.
Even though United might have started with a big win under their belt and that too against one of the best sides in the competition, that was not the only things which had grabbed the headlines. There was another important thing which had a lot to do with the home team. Any guesses about this one?
You have heard it right. The former boss was seen at the Old Trafford. The former midfielder was spotted waving to the fans as they saluted him. The footballer-turned-coach and manager has won 25 major honours, making him one of the most successful managers of all time. He was shown the door after the Red Devils had a lackluster season last year. Since Mourinho was no longer associated with the united, then what was he doing at the Old Trafford arena? Well, he is there to do his new job. Confused? In case if you did not know, the Portuguese coach is currently working as a commentator and as an analyst in the ongoing EPL season. United are currently managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Here's what the fans had to say after watching Man U's ex-manager at their home ground.
