Messi continues recovery from Covid-19 as PSG prepare for Lyon trip

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino confirmed he was still unsure whether Lionel Messi can make it for the big match at Lyon on Sunday.

PSG trained on Saturday without the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, who continues to recover from COVID-19.

Messi's absence and Neymar's injury means that PSG will have to rely on Kylian Mbappe once again, with the French man in good form.

Back in September PSG had it difficult with Lyon.

Pochettino's side needed a header from Mauro Icardi in the final seconds of stoppage time in that meeting.

Lyon dominated for spells and often gives PSG a hard game at home.
