In-form AC Milan prepared for their Europa League Group H opener against Celtic with a training session in Carnago on Wednesday.

Stefano Pioli's side have won all four of their games so far in the new Italian domestic campaign and warmed up for Thursday's encounter with the Scottish champions with a morale-boosting 2-1 win in the Milan derby against Inter on Saturday.

Celtic, in contrast, were defeated by the same score in the Glasgow derby by arch rivals Rangers on the same day.

Group H is regarded as the toughest of the opening phase of this season's competition - Celtic went into the draw as the seeded team and were followed by Sparta Prague, Milan and Lille, the second-ranked sides according to UEFA, from pots 2, 3 and 4.
