New York City burn Inter Miami 3-1 in Major League Soccer

Valentin Castellanos scored twice for New York City in their 3-1 Major League Soccer victory over Inter Miami on Saturday.

David Beckham watched from the stands with frustration as his Miami were unable to match the class of New York.

Castellanos opened the books in the 33rd minute when he beautifully curled his strike past Nick Marsman to put the visitors ahead.

Jorge Figal levelled the scores in the 56th minute from Gonzalo Higuain's corner, but Castellanos slammed his second in from close to the penalty spot to put New York ahead again on the hour.

Talles Magno secured the win with a solid strike in the 83rd minute that beat two defenders and Marsman.
