Neymar says goodbye to his Barcelona teammates ahead of his ￡196mn move to PSG

We all knew there was something up in the whole transfer saga relating to Neymar leaving Barcelona. The rumours were too strong for it to be ignored. And now finally, in what is a decisive turn of events in the Brazilian forward’s speculation on his future, it is reported that Neymar had arrived for Barcelona’s training early on Wednesday but did not take part in training.

In a blue Audi sports car, Neymar arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled training session but did not take part in the training which lead people to believe that he was there to bid goodbye to his Barcelona teammates. There were reports on Tuesday which said that Neymar was keen to go back to Brazil to think about his future amid the growing speculation over his career. 

If the deal with PSG comes through, it would clearly smash all world records making him the costliest player in Football’s history by miles. Media have also reported that the relationship between the club and the player turned sour after the club withheld a payment to Neymar senior on Monday. 

Neymar was in China the last week to take part in a sponsor’s event before boarding a flight to Dubai on Tuesday which added lot of sparks to the rumors considering PSG’s owners are based in the Middle east. The prolific Barcelona striker is expected to pen a ₤500,000-a-week deal with the French club.
