Optimistic Southgate 'looking forward' to facing Italy and Germany in NL

Reaction from Gareth Southgate after his England side were drawn against Germany, Italy and Hungary in Group A3 in the Nations League on Thursday.

For Southgate it's a chance to extract revenge on Italy, the team who beat England on penalties in the Euro 2021 final at Wembley in July.

Each team will play four group games in June 2022, and then a further two games in September.

The four group winners will take part in the final in 2023.
