According to reports, Real Madrid are planning to bid a sum of £70m plus Gareth Bale in exchange for Manchester City's Raheem Sterling. Real Madrid have reportedly made the England star their prime target this coming transfer window and will be allocating scouts to watch him when he leaves for his international duty. Everyone is aware of the rising tension between Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane and Gareth Bale, and it can be one of the reasons for Bale’s departure from the Spanish giants. But there is a very slight chance of this deal going through as Pep Guardiola highly rates Raheem Sterling.

Raheem Sterling to Real Madrid?

Gareth Bale still has three years remaining on his contract with the Los Blancos. The Welshman reportedly is on a very high pay grade and Manchester City will think twice before signing the superstar as he is highly prone to injuries. As for Raheem Sterling, he is enjoying the best spell of his career at Manchester City. Despite the star-studded squad, Sterling is most of the times the first choice player for Pep Guardiola. Sterling's current deal in Manchester will expire in 2023 and they can extend his deal with Real Madrid lurking around.
