Sharjah beat Baniyas 3-0 to stay in touch with UAE Pro League leaders

Sharjah stayed in touch with the top three sides in the UAE Pro League following a 3-0 rout aagainst Baniyas on Sunday.

Al Ain top the league with 27 points, Al Wahda and Shabab Al-Ahli have 20 and Sharjah lie fourth with 19 points.

A magnificent free-kick from Brazilian Caio Lucas Fernandes gave Sharjah a first-half lead.

Saif Rashid added a second on 48 minutes before Gustavo Alemao's headed effort gave Sharjah a 3-0 lead in the 75th.
