Hack:

  • Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to score for his new club Juventus, but his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has shown him how to put the ball in the back of the net
  • Ronaldo is yet to score for his new club in the opening three games of the Seria A season

The biggest transfer for the 2018/19 season was that of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid to Juventus for an approximate fee of 101 million pounds. After spending nine successful years at the Spanish club, where he won numerous titles and ended as the all-time leading goal scorer, the Portuguese chose to go ahead for a new challenge.

His arrival at the Italian club was meant with huge cheers, and the five-time Ballon D'or was earmarked to continue his exploits in front of goal. But if the first three matches are anything to go by, the serial goal scorer has found the going tough.

Ronaldo is yet to score for his new club in the opening three games of the Seria A season. In fact, the former Manchester United player has hardly looked like putting the ball in the back of the net. He has been trying hard, with 23 shots, though, the Portuguese skipper has had only nine efforts on target.

While on one end, Ronaldo is finding the going tough in terms of goals, his son seems to show the way forward. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, 8, recently linked up with the Juventus U-9 team, and is tipped by many, including Cristiano, of making it big.

And the youngster has usurped his father in terms of scoring first for Juventus. Ronaldo Jr. scored four goals on his debut for the Italian giants' U-9 team.

Scoring a goal for Juventus may seem difficult for Ronaldo, but his exploits off the field continue on. The former Real Madrid superstar was awarded the 'Forward of the Year' for his record-breaking campaign with Los Blances in the UEFA Champions League 2017/18, wherein he scored 15 goals in 13 appearances.

At the same event Luka Modric was announced the Men's Player of the Year at the UEFA awards ceremony held in Monaco. The Real Madrid play-maker beat Ronaldo and Liverpool star Mohammed Salah to win the accolade.

Earlier, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was awarded the 'UEFA Goal of the Season' award for his sensational overhead kick he scored while playing for his former club Real Madrid against his present club Juventus in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League 2017/18.
