Ever since making his world-record move to Juventus in a deal which is reported to be worth 100 million euros,  it has been whirlwind of a short career for Cristiano Ronaldo. After enduring a relatively slow start, given his sky-high standards, the Portuguese superstar looks to have found his scoring boots once again.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored 7 goals in the Serie A for the Italian giants, but was unable to break his duck in the Champions League. Though, that changed on Tuesday night after Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 8th goal of the season in the competition that he loves the most.

Interestingly, he got his Champions League goal-scoring account up and running against former club Manchester United, when the two sides clashed in Turin. Although, he wasn't seen celebrating his goals during his time at Real Madrid, but looked extremely ecstatic with the goal this time around as he celebrated by flaunting his finely chiseled body.

Leonardo Bonuncci was the creator-in-chief of the goal, as he floated a perfectly weighted long pass inside the Manchester United defensive area. Capitalizing on the open space, Ronaldo drifted forward and blasted the ball into the net leaving David de Gea rooted to the ground.

However, Ronaldo's moment of magic didn't last too long after his 65th-minute strike was canceled out by a fine free-kick by substitute Juan Mata, shortly after coming on, and then minutes later a scramble in the box which led to Alex Sandra prodding the ball into his own net.

However, there was more drama on the night after Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho entered the pitch and celebrated the win by cupping his ears to the irate Juve fans. The Special One claimed that he had been abused by the Juventus fans for the entire 90 minutes of the match, and enjoyed every right to enjoy the triumph at the final whistle.

“I was insulted for 90 minutes. I came here to do my job, nothing more,” Mourinho told Sky Sport Italia.

“I didn’t offend anyone at the end, I just made a gesture that I wanted to hear them louder. I probably shouldn’t have done it, and with a cool head I wouldn’t have done it, but with my family insulted, including my Inter family, I reacted like this."
