WATCH: Meenakshi Lekhi attempts penalty kick challenge! Will she ace it?

While the top European football leagues have shut up shop for the season, with the Champions League final to come this weekend and the extravaganza of the World Cup to follow from Russia, a sensational summer of football awaits! And one person who is really excited by this is BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi.

The Lok Sabha MP organised a football camp for girls on the occasion of the visit of Bruno Bruins, the Netherlands' minister for Medical Care and Sports. The camp was organised outside the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the National Capital on a portable football pitch and was even attended by some former Dutch football players. 

At the event, titled "Football and Life Skills Clinic, with sustainable sports infrastructure", Meenakshi Lekhi not only signed jerseys and handed out tokens of appreciation but also demonstrated her own footballing prowess.

The lawmaker took a 2/2 penalty kick challenge! And according to her, she nailed it.

Earlier, Meenakshi Lekhi had participated in the Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore-led #FitnessChallenge that has gone viral across social media, demonstrating how seriously she takes her fitness:
