Liverpool stormed to a brilliant 4-0 win against Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium on Saturday, lifting themselves to the top of the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City, who lost to Chelsea later in the day.

The Merseyside club put in a very professional display, and forward Mohamed Salah was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick and dismissing any fears of being out of form.

His performance deservedly earned him a Man of the Match award, but at the post-match event, he refused to take it, and instead handed it straight to his teammate James Milner, who featured in a landmark 500th Premier League match.

When being handed the award by Milner, Salah did not accept it, before giving it to the Englishman while showering praise at him. He said, "Five hundred games. I have to congratulate him for his amazing career. He deserves it today. He’s had an amazing career, so I hope we’re going to win something this season together. But I will not take it!”
