Sheffield United remain within touch of a European spot for next season after John Egan scored a dramatic winning goal in the 93rd minute of their Premier League clash with Wolves at Bramall Lane.

The Blades briefly went ahead when Billy Sharp fired the ball past Rui Patricio, but he was offside and it was Egan who finally gave Sheffield United the edge with a powerful header from Oliver Norwood's corner in injury time.

The victory sees Sheffield United move to seventh, four points behind Manchester United in fifth. The Blades have never qualified for a major European competition.
