87': Good play from Douglas Costa on the right, before he lays the ball on the edge of the box for Casemiro. His effort is a good one, but straight at Navas.

83': Final change by Costa Rica. Guzman is replaced by Tejeda.

81': Two yellow cards in space of a second. First it's Neymar, for his dissent, and then Coutinho for showing his displeasure.

79': The referee is going to use the help of VAR! And he has reversed the decision!

78': PENALTY! Neymar is fouled inside the area, as he was about to take an effort on goal.

75': Second change by Costa Rica. Calvo replaces Gamboa.

72': Big miss from Neymar! The Costa Rican defense fails to clear a through ball, and it falls to the feet of Neymar. The PSG man has space to run ahead of him, but chooses to take the strike 20 yards from the goal. His curler is just wide of the post.

69': Corner for Brazil. Neymar gets the ball, and is nearly through on goal. But a last ditch challenge saves the day for Costa Rica.

HALF TIME: Brazil 0-0 Costa Rica

45' + 1': Free kick for Costa Rica on the right side, with just seconds to go. Guzman takes the set piece, but it's a poor one.

45': One minute added on!

41': Marcelo has another go! The left back does a step over, and shifts the ball to his right foot, and has an effort from 25 yards out. But it's a comfortable save for his Real teammate Navas.

38': Corner for Brazil! Marcelo pings a brilliant cross field ball towards Willian. The winger takes on the defender, and tries to put a ball in the box, but it's blocked away for a corner.

34': Willian has a go from his left foot, but it's well wide. The winger, playing on the right, shifted the ball to his weaker foot and had a go, but his effort was poor.

31': Another brilliant play by Neymar! The PSG man does brilliantly on the left wing, and puts in a great chipped cross in the box for Jesus. But the defense deals with with it. The striker was offside anyway.

30': High from Coutinho! The dazzling playmaker has the ball in the very same area from where he scored against Switzerland. But his effort this time is wayward.

29': Marcelo has another go from the edge of the area, but it's wide again. The left back is getting lot of space on the left wing.

27': A lovely ball over the top by Coutinho finds Neymar through on goal, but his first touch is poor, and allows Keylor Navas to make a sliding block.

26': GOAL! But it's offside! Marcelo has a go from the edge of the area, but his miscued shot falls kindly for Jesus, who takes one touch and dispatches the ball in the net. Though, he was a yard offside there, and the official spotted it.

24': Brazil, despite having arguably the best front four in the tournament, have struggled to create a meaningful chance. Jesus and Willian have been anonymous, whereas Coutinho and Neymar haven't been any better.

18': Another foul on Neymar. He produces a brilliant skill on the left wing, and is away, but Venegas stops him illegally.

16': Second foul on Neymar within a minute, and he looks frustrated. Remember, he was fouled 10 times against Switzerland.

13': Good chance for Costa Rica! Brilliant play on the right side by Gamboa, and the ball is cut back. But the effort from Borges is wide.

9': Free kick for Brazil! William is fouled 25 yards out. Neymar is over it.

8': Brazil have the early possession, as they keep passing the ball across the park.

3': Chance for Coutinho! He gets the ball in the middle of the park, and has a go from 25 yards out.  But it is well over.

2': Marcelo was the skipper in the first match, but the armband has been passed to Thiago Silva. Brazil head coach Tite continues to change his captain.
