The spectators who were present at the Kalinga stadium in Odisha were in for a double treat on Sunday. Apart from witnessing the exciting final between Belgium and Netherlands, they also got a sight of nation's 'cricketing god' Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar, the leading run-scorer of all time in Tests and ODIs, has been a huge admirer of the Hockey World Cup, and had been closely following it throughout the past few weeks. In the final of the tournament, he watched the match live and saw fans shower him with love.

Having witnessed the Master Blaster at the turf, the spectators started to chant 'Sachin, Sachin'. For a moment, their voices were so loud that it seemed the final of Hockey World Cup wasn't the occasion, and instead, it was a cricket match with Tendulkar coming out to bat.
