In the second semi-final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan will take on  Australia at the Dubai International Stadium on Thursday. It will be a titanic clash as both the teams are out to prove themselves and losing is not an option for either of the two teams. Prior to the Pakistan vs Australia T20 World Cup 2021 semi-final match, take a look at the three very important factors that could deny the Pakistani team a spot in the final.

Opening pair of David Warner and Aaron Finch

David Warner came into the ICC T20 World Cup on the back of a poor showing with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2021. He scored only 195 runs in eight matches at an average of just 24.37. But the Australian team took a chance on him and he repaid that trust with some vintage performances, including a sensational hit of 89* off 56 balls in their crucial match against West Indies. Along with Warner is Aaron Finch who has been playing well at the World Cup so far. He has scored 130 runs at an average of 26.00. If they get off to a good start then that could definitely spell trouble for the Pakistan bowlers.

Aussie bowling attack

Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins are what makes the Australian bowling lineup so dangerous. All three of these pace bowlers have been sensational in this tournament, with Hazelwood managing to grab eight wickets and Starc with seven. The Pakistani openers will have a tough time dealing with such a pace. And when you add Adam Zampa to the mix, the lineup is almost unstoppable. Zampa has been sensational this tournament and has managed to take 11 wickets so far and conceded only 109 runs. It will be interesting to see how Finch decides to go with his bowling lineup.

Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell's all-rounder abilities

Mitchell Marsh has not been used too much with the ball, but his ability to bowl is good, and his explosive batting style gives Australia one of the best all-rounders. But let's not forget that the Aussies also have Glenn Maxwell, who has bowled well at the T20 World Cup 2021 and has batted well also. Maxwell came into the World Cup on the back of a great season with the Royal Challengers Bangalore and will want to make sure he can get Australia over the line and help them win the ICC T20 World Cup.
