PKL 2019 Final: Dabang Delhi KC VS Bengal Warriors Report
Dabang Delhi KC started the match with dominance with seven early points while Bengal Warriors were still struggling with just one but Warriors stuck to their gameplan and managed to get momentum back in the match. Bengal raider Nabibaksh had a brilliant day with nine raid points and a tackle. The Irani player managed to score the most for his team with 10 important points while Sukesh Hegde gave him the perfect compliment with seven raid points and another point from a brilliant tackle. In the early stage, it seemed that Dabang Delhi were surely going to take over the match after inflicting the first all-out of the match but Warriors made a speedy recovery. Dabang Delhi were dominating the match with 11-3 but the momentum changed at the score levelled up to 17-17 during half time and ended up to 39-34 till the end. Despite losing raider Naveen Kumar, Delhi really put up a hard fight with a massive 11 raid points and seven bonus points in the PKL final. Naveen was the highest scorer in the match but his efforts could not secure his team’s victory. It was a one-man show from Naveen while Delhi skipper Joginder Singh Narwal failed to deliver in the PKL final and Dabang Delhi lost the grip of the match after half-time.
