At the age of 38, Dani Alves has been given the chance to fulfil his ambition of representing Brazil at the Olympic Games.

And it seems the star midfielder may have realised another ambition when he assumed the role of air steward on Sunday.

Alves looked in his element as he took control of the plane tannoy to issue safety instructions to his fellow team-mates on their flight from Serbia, where they had played a friendly warm-up game, to their Olympic base in Tokyo.

The veteran, who has already won a host of national and international honours, will now look to add an Olympic gold medal to his haul, with Brazil one of the favourites to win the two-week competition.
