With 11 wins in 18 matches, the Bengal Warriors are comfortably placed second on the points table. After table-toppers Dabang Delhi, the team from Kolkata became the second team in the competition to qualify for the playoffs. The Maninder Singh-led side would still be looking to register more wins before the knock-outs to re-affirm their position on the points table.
Telugu Titans, with just four wins out of their 16 games, have been already ousted from the playoff contention race. The Titans, however, will be looking to salvage some pride by winning their remaining fixtures.
The last time these two teams faced-off each other was on August 12, during the fourth leg of the ongoing edition. In a closely-fought contest, both sides scored 29 points each to secure a thrilling-tie. Their upcoming affair is scheduled for October 25 at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur.
