Their play-off dream was shattered when UP Yoddha defeated Dabang Delhi to become the sixth team to qualify. Skipper Deepak Hooda, Deepak Narwal and Nilesh Salunke will have to be at their best if they want their team to finish strong. The trio will also have to rise against Tamil Thalaivas’ defence department if they want to with this match.

The Chennai-based franchise is having it's worst season. They are currently placed at the bottom of the points table with 57 points. They have played 20 matches till now and have won only three. They lost 14 matches while three ended up in a draw. The Thalaivas lost their last match against UMumba and would want to win against Pink Panthers. Their star raider Rahul Chaudhari has failed to shine in the tournament and skipper Ajay Thakur has also not been consistent in the raiding department.
