New York Yankees' ace Gerrit Cole set a Major League record early in Monday's start, dismissing Texas Rangers' Joey Gallo to make it 59 strikeouts between walks.

Cole eventually made it to 61 strikeouts between walks, the longest single-season streak since the mound was moved to its current distance in 1893.
