Indiana Pacers Malcolm Brogdon has stressed that it is 'important for us to stay outraged' over the death of George Floyd.

Floyd, a black man, was filmed gasping for breath last week in Minneapolis while being pressed under the knee of a white police officer for several minutes - his subsequent death has sparked days of protests across the U.S.

Having joined the Atlanta protests, guard Brogdon shared his thoughts on why African-Americans need to ''continue to be angry, continue to protest, continue to shed light and highlight what's going on in this country and the broken system that we're living in.''

Speaking on ESPN's "First Take" program, Brogdon described the ''desperateness that our community is in'' and urged the white community to do all they can to help in the fight for justice.
