Kim gives up two-run homer in relief appearance for the Cardinals

Kwang-hyun Kim came out of the bullpen for St. Louis Cardinals in the eighth against Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday (7 September).

The South Korean came on when the Cardinals were trailing 5-2 and struck out Max Muncy to end the inning.

But Kim gave up a two-run homer to Justin Turner in the ninth and the Dodgers extended their lead to 7-2.

Kim allowed two hits, two runs and struck out two batters in 1 1/3 innings.

He is expected to start Thursday's finale of the teams' four game series in St. Louis.
