MMA icon Nick Diaz makes weight for first UFC fight since 2015

MMA icon Nick Diaz is set to return for his first UFC fight in nearly seven years after successfully making weight ahead for his showdown against Robbie Lawler at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The 38-year-old will face Lawler in the 185-pound middleweight bout.

Diaz is the biggest star on the UFC 266 card even though he has yet to win a fight in nearly a decade.

Defending champions Valentina Shevchenko and Alexander Volkanovski also made weight for their respective title fights against Lauren Murphy and Brian Ortega.
