Earlier to start off the inning, former Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr, who is best remembered for hitting the first grand slam ever given up by Clayton Kershaw, fired his sixth homer for his debut KBO season.

Meanwhile, another former major leaguer Drew Rucinski had another good outing on the mount striking out eight in six innings in the shutout. The former Angels, Twins and Marlins righthander picked up the win and improved to 4-0 for the season.
