Netherlands' Van den Broek-Blaak wins Strade Bianche Elite Women race

Former world champion Chantal Van den Broek-Blaak won the women's Strade Bianche on Saturday - the first UCI Women's WorldTour race of the season.

The SD Worx rider was prominent throughout and attacked with six klilometres remaining, breaking Elisa Longo Borghini of Trek-Segafredo on the steep final climb to ease away.

Van den Broek-Blaak's team-mate Anna van der Breggen pipped Annemiek van Vleuten of Movistar for the other podium place.
