UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira and his challenger Dustin Poirier both made weight on Friday, a day ahead of their bout at UFC 269 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira and his challenger Dustin Poirier both made weight on Friday, a day ahead of their bout at UFC 269 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The 31-8 Brazilian Oliveira, who weighed exactly 155 pounds, will be defending his belt for the first time. His American opponent, the 28-6 Poirier, weighed 154.5.

Brazil's Amanda Nunes (21-4) also made weight at 134.5 pounds ahead of her bantamweight title defense against American Julianna Pena (10-4), who tipped the scale at 135 even.
