Caeleb Dressel said the pressure of the Olympics was "terrifying" but worth it after he finished off his gold rush at the Tokyo games two more dazzling swims on Sunday.

The 24-year-old American captured his fourth and fifth gold medals of the Tokyo Games to move into elite company.

Michael Phelps did it three times, highlighted by his record eight golds at the 2008 Beijing Games as did Mark Spitz (seven golds in 1972), East Germany's Kristin Otto (six golds in 1988) and Matt Biondi (five golds, also in '88).
