Two good Samaritans got well deserved recognition in Tempe, Arizona on Wednesday for helping save a woman from an attack.
Tempe police honored New England Patriots offensive lineman Justin Herron and Tempe resident Murry Rogers after the two intervened and stopped an attack at Kiwanis Park on March 20.
Police say a 71 year old woman was going for her daily walk Saturday morning when a 30 year old man approached her from behind.
Officials say Kevin Caballero pushed the woman to the ground, tried to take her pants off and talked about having sex with her.
The woman fought back until the two men intervened. They were able to hold Caballero until police arrived and took him into custody.
