Tamil Thalaivas will face Bengal Warriors for their last PKL 2019 match on Wednesday, October 9. The match will take place at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida (19:30 IST). Tamil Thalaivas recently ended their winless streak by defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers 33-35 on October 7. Bengal Warriors, along with Dabang Delhi KC, Haryana Steelers, U Mumba, Bengaluru Bulls and UP Yoddha have already qualified for the PKL 2019 playoffs.

Captained by Maninder Singh, Bengal Warriors were the second team to qualify for Pro Kabaddi season 7. Currently, Bengal Warriors are ranked second in the PKL 2019 points table with 78 points. They lost their last match against Patna Pirates 41-69. Maninder, with his 205 raid points, is their top performer. Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh has also completed 100 total points in PKL 2019. Their defence is being led by right corner defender Baldev Singh who has 61 tackle points this season. Sourabh Patil, who debuted on October 6, scored an impressive 11 points. Out of the 21 matches played, Bengal Warriors have won thirteen, lost five and tied three matches. Tamil Thalaivas are ranked twelfth on the PKL 2019 points table. On Monday, October 7, they broke their 14-match winless streak. With this upcoming match, Tamil Thalaivas will be looking to end their PKL 2019 season with a huge win. For the last few games, V Ajith Kumar has been their saving grace with an impressive 117 raid points. Rahul Chaudhari still remains their top performer with 123 raid points. Ran Singh and Manjeet Chillar have also been consistent performers this PKL season. Tamil Thalaivas has won four matches in PKL 2019.
