U Mumba and Dabang Delhi KC will face each other on Friday, October 11, for their last league stage PKL 2019 match (19:30 IST). The venue is Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida. U Mumba and Dabang Delhi KC have both qualified for the PKL 2019 playoffs. Bengal Warriors, Haryana Steelers, Bengaluru Bulls and UP Yoddha are the other teams who have qualified for the playoffs.

The team is captained by veteran Joginder Narwal, who has scored 46 total points this season. Their MVP has been the young Naveen Kumar, who has 256 raid points for PKL 2019. Ravinder Pahal takes care of their right corner defence, perfectly complementing Narwal. Their defence has been almost impenetrable in PKL season 7. Chandran Ranjit and Vijay have also scored impressively. Dabang Delhi KC lost their last match with UP Yoddha, 50-33.

Despite initial losses, U Mumba picked up momentum in the later stages of the league. With ‘Sultan’ Fazel Atrachali as their captain, U Mumba has improved on their defence. In their last match with Haryana Steelers, Atrachali completed his 300 tackle points for PKL, the fastest by any player. Abhishek Singh has been most impressive and has a 9.8 raid points average for the last five games. Sandeep Narwal has also performed better in the latter half of the game, scoring a total of 66 points this season. Youngsters Athul MS, Arjun Deshwal and Ajinkya Kapre have earned U Mumba crucial points this season. If U Mumba win this game against Dabang Delhi KC, they will advance to the third place on the PKL 2019 points table.
