Redding wins in Spain for his maiden Superbike victory

Britain's Scott Redding won his first World Superbikes race - with victory in race One in the Spanish round in Jerez on Saturday.

The Ducati rider started from pole and his win means that there have been four different winners in the first four races of the season.

Redding passed world champion Jonathan Rea on lap 14 and held on to relegate the Kawasaki rider to the runners-up spot.

Yamaha's Toprak Razgatlioglu claimed the final podium place, just ahead of Chaz Davies on another Ducati.
