WWE's most anticipated premiere week did not fail to impress the audience as an action-packed episode of Monday night RAW got the wheels rolling for what is going to be a star-studded WWE week. With SmackDown moving back to Friday night while also debuting on Fox network, many WWE legends are expected to set foot on the stage and some might even have a fight. The audience in RAW was up for aa surprise as WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair met at the center of the ring at the Miz TV talk show. At the end of the talk show, a surprise match for WWE Crown Jewel was announced and it left the WWE Universe absolutely floored.

Seth Rollins & Randy Orton to fight in Team Hogan vs Team Flair

As the idea of a Team Hogan vs Team Flair was revealed on Miz TV, the WWE Universe were at their edge of the seats to see which superstar waws going to take the side of the legends. To everyone's surprise including Ric Flair himself, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins walked out to the middle and shook hands with Hulk Hogan, signifying his allegiance to the Hulkamania. Just as the universe got wondering who would take Flair's side, it turned out to be none other than WWE's Apex Predator and Ric Flair's close friend Randy Orton. A scuffle between Seth Rollins and Randy Orton was inevitable but there was yet another surprise as King of the Ring Baron Corbin joined hands with Randy Oron to attack Seth Rollins. However, Rusev who returned to RAW in the previous week came out to Seth Rollins' aid and managed to drive away the Apex Predator and the King of the Ring. As the night came to an end, an official announcement was made by the WWE about Team Hogan versus Team Flair at WWE Crown Jewel with Seth Rollins and Randy Orton leading the teams respectively.

WWE Raw Results: Other Matches

After Lesnar leaves, Alexa Bliss takes on Sasha Banks, while Becky Lynch watched the match. Banks won the match by kicking Alexa on her injured leg. The encounter ended with Becky promising to Punish Sasha during Hell in a Cell. Roode and Ziggler also managed to defend their WWE tag title against Heavy Machinery. Lined up next, we had the Viking Raiders up against Anderson. Erik and Ivar defeated Anderson with their finisher as the crowd came alive by the end of the match. Cesaro and Ricochet fought next. Though both start with a swift exchange of counters, Ricochet wins after delivering a beautiful Hurricanrana from the top. AJ Styles also defended his US Championship title after taking down Cedric Alexander. Both WWE wrestlers counter each other before Styles hits Alexander with a Styles Clash for the pin and the win. Natalya and Lacey Evans wrestled each other next. Evans wins after rolling the Queen of Harts in a bunch of tights.
