Tour de France 'has given me everything' says Cavendish

Mark Cavendish has said he loves his 34 Tour de France stage victories "all the same."

The 36-year-old won four stages at this year's Tour to equal the all-time record of 34 stage wins held since 1975 by Belgian great Eddy Merckx and cement his place as one of cycling's best ever sprinters.

"That race has given me everything in my life, and I've given everything in my life to that race. And yeah, it's across the line and it is something very few bike riders get to experience, let alone people," said Cavendish.
