UFC President Dana White and family tests positive for COVID-19

UFC president Dana White and his family have all tested positive for COVID-19 after a family trip to Maine for Thanksgiving, he said on Wednesday.

Speaking to "The Jim Rome Podcast," White said he called popular podcast host Joe Rogan for advice on potential treatments. Rogan had caused controversy by advocating the use of the widely discredited drug ivermectin to treat COVID-19.

White, who is fully vaccinated, said he experienced minimal symptoms and a temporary loss of sense of smell and taste.

White is currently in isolation with his family. If he tests negative, he could attend UFC Vegas 44 on Saturday night.
