WWE NXT put down a massive show in their second complete week of NXT on USA Network. The previous week was not great for NXT but they managed to raise the bar higher after facing competition from AEW Dynamite’s weekly debut. There were three huge matches with Lio Rush going against NXT Cruiserweight champion Drew Gulak and Kushida getting his hands on NXT champion Walter. However, the non-title fight between Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and NXT North American champion Roderick AStrong managed to take a great shape unexpectedly. The return of Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa added more energy to the NXT with a green signal from fans.
Challenger Lio Rush started the match with aggression. Gulak planted Cyclone Crash on Rush but he managed to escape the pinfall. The match was on Gulak’s side until Lio Rush managed to hit him with the Come-Up and the Final Hour. Gulak did not have any answer to the blows and lost his belt via pinfall.

Rhea Ripley had a quick day at defeated her rival with ease. Ripley landed an impressive dropkick and locked Aaliyah in a reverse cloverleaf. Aaliya was found helpless and tapped out with no other option to look for. After an impressive win, Rhea called out for NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.
Breezango had a promising start in the match. Fandango hit a sunset bomb followed by a Tope Con Hilo on Riker. However, they could not keep in the match and got dominated by Wesley Blake. Despite a good performance, Breezango lost the match.
The interesting match-up got ruined due to Kilian Dane’s involvement. Grimes distracted Boa by pointing towards the ramp in beginning and landed a running Double Stomp. Kilian Dane further interfered in the match and hit Boa with a Vader Bomb. After Kilian’s involvement, Cameron got an easy win in the match.
Strong and Scott put down a massive show with heavy wrestling display throughout. However Strong managed to gain control by planting a Back Breaker. Scott managed to regain his momentum with a superkick and DDT but the Undisputed Era came in and ruined the match. Roderick managed to get the victory with Undisputed Era’s involvement.
Dakota was offensive in the match but could not beat Belair’s physical power. Belair hit a Standing Shooting Star followed by Kiss Of Death to Kai. Kai could not get back and lost the match to Belair. After the victory, Belair challenged to dethrone Baszler.
Walter dominated the entire match but lost the momentum in between. Despite facing a DDT and dropkick, Walter came back in his style and defeated Kushida. The non-title fight was highly loved by the fans. Walter has his eyes on title-shot now.
