Federer in heated towel row with umpire at French Open

Roger Federer got into a heated exchange with the umpire his French Open match against Marin Cilic on Thursday.

Cilic had apparently complained over the time being taken to get towels at the back of the court between points and the umpire called Federer out for time violation.

After a long discussion with the official, Federer then questioned Cilic himself about the situation.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion won the match 6-2, 2-6, 7-6, 6-2 in the end to reach the third round.
