Medvedev spearheading Russia's ATP Cup defense as men's top players set to kick off 2020

World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev practiced on Thursday in Sydney ahead of the multi-nation ATP Cup -- the first tournament in the New Year.

The 2021 US Open champion, who is spearheading Russia's title defence, will play against Dennis Novak on 2nd January in the ATP Cup opener.

The 2020 ATP Finals champion will face Australia's Alex de Minaur on 4th January and then Matteo Berrettni of Italy next Thursday in group play.
